A customer called in to request repairs for a malfunction of their refrigerator.
The issue with the GE refrigerator was that it had stopped maintaining the correct set temperature.
That same day, our technician arrived and performed a diagnostic examination.
During his inspection, it was discovered:
1. That ice had begun to build-up on the wall of the refrigerator
2. Due to freon leakage from the cooling system.
To correct this:
1. He replaced the evaporator coils, and welded them to the wall.
2. Then, he filled the cooling system with freon, to prevent the ice from forming again.
In total, this diagnostic check took 3 hours.
The customer was very satisfied with the results.
